Gilt background and nimbuses, Church Slavonic tituli. Fine miniature painting. In the central field Anastasis - Christ's descent into hell and resurrection; the surrounding twelve registers show the "Dodekaorton", the twelve main feast days of the Orthodox Church. Bulge on the upper edge with the Holy Trinity. Impressive Orthodox domestic icon and a great collector's item! With expert opinion! Excellent condition with only minor craquelure.
