Charming "Pretty Lady" figurine. Ttatilco, 1500 - 500 B.C. H 12 cm. Reddish clay with traces of paint on the face and hair ornaments. Standing female clay statuette of type D. Typical Ttatilco "Pretty Lady" figurine with standardized body type, nude with narrow waist and pronounced hips and rounded thighs, elaborate hair ornament, long hair, delicately modelled facial features, breasts and buttocks only faintly indicated, loincloth. Left toe missing, otherwise in very good condition. With stand. Provenance: Munich private collection A.H. Acquired in New York in the early 1970s.
