Stirrup vessel with seated woman. Salinar, 500 BC - 200 AD. H 17.5 cm. Reddish clay with red and white painting. The figure squatting on the body of the vessel and holding an elongated object in her right hand, incised decoration on the body. Expertly restored. Published in: Seifert, Frauen No. 87 Surface rubbed, intact. Provenance: Private collection U.H. since 1982, previously in a southern German private collection.
