Publisher's brown percaline, top board and smooth spine titled in gilt, large witnesses on boards (faded). First edition of the French translation, the first to appear in Brussels before the translation by Maurice Coindreau and Marcel Duhamel under the title "Les raisins de la colère" published in Paris by Gallimard in 1947. The original English edition was published in New York in 1939 by Viking Press. Edition of 375 copies, including 100 copies S.P., one of 275 on Cartex register paper "large and small margins, luxuriously bound, gold title printing with pendulum" (no. 270).
