[i.e. Amsterdam], aux dépens de la Compagnie [Brancart, impr. by Avonstond], 1889. In-16: 109 pp. (rare pitting). Contemporary half morocco in petrol blue with corners, 1st cover on boards (some rubbing, spine slightly faded). First edition, on vergé à la forme, decorated with a fleuron with a satyr milking a goat on the title and headbands. Ref. Dutel 510. - Perceau 75. - Pia 877. - BGL III:31. Prov. De Bloeme (bookplate), name crossed out in black pen and replaced by Van Altena. - Modert (ms. mention). - 2 La comtesse de Lesbos, ou La Nouvelle Gamiani [...]. Paris [i.e. Rotterdam], aux dépenses [sic] de la Compagnie [Bergé, c. 1900]. In-8°: front cover-171-[1] pp. (slight scuffing to chapter numbers in fine table). Contemporary half vellum bradel, 1st cover on boards (yellowing and small stains to vellum, corners dulled, small knock to head of upper cover). Int. very fresh. Unlisted edition (orig.: Paris [i.e. Amsterdam], 1889), adorned with a free-standing title-front in etching and enhanced with watercolor, not mentioned by Dutel.
