First edition issued in only 150 copies for the artist's friends (n. 55), with an introductory booklet by Max Krell. The 10 superbly coloured plates depict the sophisticated eroticism of the Roaring Twenties through women dressed in rococo style. H. Pellar (1886-1971), "Maler der Eleganz", was appointed by the Grand Duke of Hesse to the Mathildenhöhe artists' colony in Darmstadt. He moved then to Frankfurt in 1925.
