L'office de la Quinzaine de Pasque, latin-françois, à l'usage de Rome & de Paris, pour la Maison de Mgr. le Duc d'Orleans, premier Prince du Sang. Paris Cl.J.B. Herissant pour D'Houry 1742 In-8° : 48-599-[1] pp. (part. margins restored on ff. D2 and G5, slight russeting). Contemporary lemon morocco, boards with coat of arms surrounded by gilt fillets and fleur-de-lys, spine ribbed with gilt fleur-de-lys and coat of arms, red morocco title page, gilt spine bands, gilt int. laces, pink reps endpapers, gilt tr. Prov. Louis-Philippe d'Orléans (1725-1785), duc d'Orléans and first prince of the blood, only son of Louis, duc d'Orléans and Auguste-Marie-Jeanne de Bade. He was the father of Philippe Égalité and the grandfather of Louis-Philippe I, the last king in French history. His library was sold at auction in 1787 (ref. Olivier 2572, fer 2). - Louis Blancard (1831-1902), French archivist and numismatist, member of the Académie de Marseille (ex-libris).
