Contemp. black shagreen, gilt-orn. frame on boards decorated with 19th-c. large Rococo style chiselled silver ornaments incl. corners, two clasps with chiselled Sacred Hearts and St Francis's face (?) on straps, central oval cartouche with Ascension on upper board, Christ in Heaven on lower board, punches, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, gilt roll on turn-ins, a.e.g., four embroidered silk bookmarks. In original slipcase (used, repaired with tape). Nice copy. Text on 2 col. printed in red and black, printed liturgical music.
