Japan, 18th/19th century Manju netsuke by Gyokuhosai Ryuchin. Signed Gyokuhosai. Decorated in katabori on the front, the artist depicting a figure slipping out of the picture he has painted. The reverse lavishly carved with a falcon, catfish, drum, hôgachô and other objects. L 4.5 cm. / Kagamibuta netsuke, Japan, 19th century Ivory with shakudo plate, partly gold zogan. Rakan with takuhatsu bol in the right hand. D 4.3 cm.
