Jean de BOLOGNE, based on Aeolus Serpentine head, probably the base of the Flying Mercury (iron tenon, accidents, restorations). 19th century or earlier Signed base by Kichizo Inagaki (1876 - 1951), Art Deco period. Height: 11.4 cm (excluding base) Total height: 32 cm Kichizo Inagaki collaborated with many collectors, dealers and artists who settled in Paris in the 1920s, including Eileen Gray. Inagaki's pedestals are renowned for their quality and attest to the particular care taken with the work.
