FRANCISCO DE GOYA (Spanish School, 1746-1828) Blood on paper "Caprice". Numbered "12" at lower left 30,3 x 21 cm On the back wet stamp in red ink with inscription "Zaragoza"; handwritten certificate by Eduardo Llosent y Marañón, former director of the National Museum of Modern Art in Madrid, dated February 3, 1959: "This drawing depicting a woman pursued by a demon and a large bird is the original work of Francisco de Goya". Provenance: Eduardo Llosent y Marañón (1905-1969), director of the Museo Nacional de Arte Moderno, Madrid. Julio Casas Araújo Collection (1895-1974), Uruguayan ambassador to Spain. Supplied with a photocopy of the certificate of Eduardo Llosent y Marañón's signature made by the notary Alejandro Santamaría y Rojas in Madrid on July 2, 1974.
