Red morocco, triple gilt fillet framing, gilt fleur-de-lys at corners and gilt coat of arms at center of boards, smooth ornate spine, inner gilt roulette, blue tabis linings and endpapers, gilt edges (period binding). A precious copy on large paper of one of the most sought-after years of the Almanach royal, "because of the profound changes that the new organization introduced into the administration of the country" (Grand-Carteret, p. 28). Copy WITH THE ARMS OF LOUISE-MARIE ADÉLAÏDE DE BOURBON-PENTHIÈVRE (1753-1821), DUCHESSE DE CHARTRES PUIS DUCHESSE D'ORLÉANS, wife of Philippe-Égalité and mother of Louis-Philippe, King of the French. First board hinge very skilfully restored. First endpaper slightly cut at edges and rebacked. Staining mainly on the first 130 pages. Wormholes on the first two interleaves and on the title.
