Lanoé).
Extremely elegant deluxe edition, 115 copies on strong vellum, illustrated with 12 hors texte etchings by Félix-Augustin MILIUS (1843-1894) and 81 vignettes by Paul AVRIL, i.e. 27 fleurons, 27 lettrines and 27 culs-de-lampe.
Copy number 46, specially printed for M. Legrand. It includes 3 proofs of the hors-texts (avant la lettre with remarks on japon, état terminé on japon and état terminé on vélin), 2 proofs on chine of the fleurons and culs-de-lampe, in black and bistre, and three proofs of the lettrines, including 2 on chine like the fleurons and culs-de-lampe, and the état terminé printed in the text.
