[ZOLA (Émile)] - ROD (Édouard).
À propos de l'Assommoir.

Rare first edition of this polemical opuscule by Swiss critic and writer Édouard Rod, written in collaboration with Émile Zola.
Rod was a disciple and friend of Zola, and this pamphlet bears witness to this, constituting a veritable defense of the latter and of the naturalist movement.
A very fine copy bound by Canape et Corriez.
A perfectly preserved copy, despite a few scattered brown spots.
