Ferroud Successeur, 1925. -Large in-8, 278 x 196: frontispiece, (2 ff.), 233 pp. (3 ff. last blank), 13 plates, illustrated cover. Havana jansenist chagrin, spine ribbed, interior gilt roulette, gilt head, untrimmed, cover and spine preserved (A. Pied-Noël). Edition of 650 copies, illustrated with 52 compositions by Georges ROCHEGROSSE (1859-1938), including 26 colored etchings engraved by Eugène Decisy, as well as 26 colored woodcuts (13 headpieces and 13 culs-de-lampe) engraved by Charles Clément. One of 155 copies on large Japon paper, this being one of 55 comprising 3 states of the etchings on japon, including the pure etching, a separate color print on wove paper of the large wood-engraved culs-de-lampe, and a print with three tints and gold, here of 11 of the 13 culs-de-lampe. Copy in a sober binding signed "A. Pied-Noël". Spine faded and some rubbing.
