Paris: Le Livre de Plantin, [1927]. - In-4, 319 x 245: portrait, (1 blank f.), 335 pp. (2 last blank ff.), printed cover. Dark brown half-maroquin with bands, gilt fillets, ribbed spine, gilt head, untrimmed, cover and spine preserved (period binding).
Fine edition at 207 copies, illustrated with 41 original etchings by Alméry LOBEL-RICHE (1877-1950), including a frontispiece portrait, 20 lettrines and 20 full-page compositions.
One of 171 copies on Arches vellum, this being one of 156 (no. 112) containing two states of the letterplates (in black with remarks and finished state), and 3 states of 20 full-page illustrations (pure etching, with remarks and finished state).
A good copy, with the first cover of the suites.
