Rare rosewood and amaranth veneered kidney-shaped table with mechanism. The curved belt opens to a drawer, pulling the top back to reveal a writing tablet. The top is decorated with amaranth fillets forming three intersecting reserves on a rosewood background. The sides feature rosewood friezes in frames. Ornamented with gilded bronzes such as: mouldings and falls, associated sabots.

Restoration
Léonard BOUDIN began his career as a simple worker, obtaining his master's degree in 1771. He soon received numerous commissions, notably from merchants.
