A chest of drawers with a slight central projection in rosewood, amaranth and green-tinted wood marquetry. It stands on four ribbed projecting legs supporting rounded uprights, the two posterior legs also projecting. It opens with two drawers on two rows without a crosspiece at the front. Central decoration of a flowering vase and a cube marquetry on the sides. Ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes such as mobile handles, keyhole, apron and sabots.

Marble broken and reglued, minor restorations, crack on a front foot.
Jean-Mathieu CHEVALLIER (1694-1768) was awarded the title of Master in 1743.
Pierre-Antoine VEAUX (1738-1784) was awarded the title of Master in 1766.
