Superb edition illustrated by Daniel Urrabieta Vierge (1851-1904), a famous Spanish illustrator from Madrid.
According to Palau, 52293, this typographic painter is considered one of the best of his time. First published in Spain. Volume I, dated 1916, is a first edition; it would appear that Volume II, despite the copyright, is a reprint.
The book belonged to Manuel Ramirez Pinto, abogado-Procurador of La Palma, who stamped it.
