A large volume in-4, full midnight-blue percaline decorated with gilt plates depicting the "arms of Don Quixote" and his hero conversing with his squire under a tree. The spine is richly decorated with gold and polychrome interlacing and garlands. A medallion depicts Sancho with the name of his island "Barataria" (Superb period binding signed Liebherre). Gilt edges. Some foxing on title leaf.
