Large black lacquered wood butsudan with gilded bronze fittings, opening onto a lacquered and gilded wood Amida seated on a hexagonal and lotiform stepped pedestal, leaning against a mandorla, hands in mida-no-join, the gesture of meditation. Inside the doors, on a lacquered and gilded background, two painted offering bearers pay homage to the bosatsu. (wear, chips, missing lacquer, cracks) H. 74 cm.
