Commentary: Excerpt from Kaendler's taxa of 1744: Before Her Royal Highness Princess Maria Annel a par force hunter, Wentzel, 15 inches high in stature and clothing, and with a similar face, in the cleanest of clay poußiret. As the same holds the body hound of the aforesaid princess next to him on a rope.
