Luigi Ballarin is a multifaceted artist fascinated by the so-called Orient. In 1993 he participated in his first exhibition, which was followed by many others in galleries and art festivals around Italy. The big change in his practice, and also in his personal life, took place in 1996, when he visited Saudi Arabia.Today he divides his time between Venice, Rome and Istanbul, three cities that are a source of inspiration for his work. Ballarin is a Mediterranean artist, who shows in his works a full awareness of the Western technical tradition steeped in Middle Eastern themes. Provenance: the artist.
