Black-figure lekythos depicting a procession with, in the middle, Hermes wearing the petasus, holding a horse between two women and two hoplites adorned with spears. A figure on the left holding a staff follows the protagonists. The shoulder is decorated with tongues and a frieze of lotus buds. Orange terracotta with black glaze, good condition, lamp-mounted with pierced bottom. Greece, Attica workshop, late 6th century B.C. H. 20.5 cm DL
