A BRONZE BOWL, XI, HAN DYNASTY
China, 202 BC to 220 AD. Boldly cast with a circular base with a subtle shoulder surmounted by an everted rim. The simplistic vessel is covered in a rich, naturally grown patina with malachite, cuprite, and azurite encrustations all over.
Provenance: French trade.
Condition: Very good condition, commensurate with age, with wear, signs of weathering and erosion, and small dents.
