Magnificent Art Deco CARTIER letter opener with clock Cartier Paris c 1930 L 33cm The case silver and 750/000 yellow gold (Paris guarantee hallmarks), oblong, slightly curved shape, fluted decorative elements made of lapis lazuli in a yellow gold frame, cut out at the lower end with decorative engraving and a small round sapphire cabochon, fluted winding crown in yellow gold. Under glass dial with oversized Roman numerals (partially cut) and internal minute track ring, marked CARTIER Made in France. The cutting edge made of nephrite. Incised no 1795 and 1061, master's mark . MC. Movement EWC &Co France 1007. Total approx 310,8g. Good condition, shaft slightly loose, case with some major scratches.
