A FINE GEM SET ART DECO MYSTERY CLOCK 20th century H. 24 cm Pagoda-like structure made of rock crystal, inlaid with lapis lazuli, , onyx chrysocolla and opals. Richly set with octagonal diamonds in gold settings total approx. 650 diamonds in octagonal cut approx. 6.50ct F-H/VS-SI. Diamond-set hands in a cut crystal dial, framed by lapis lazuli. The mechanical movement is concealed in the upper crossbar, key-wound under the sliding centre finial. Onyx button finial loose, various chips to the stones and extremities, a few diamonds missing.
