The rectangular plate within a moulded and pierced frame, carved with foliate branches, c-scrolls and flowers, surmounted by a acanthus clasp depicting a sitting monkey as Allegory of Vanity. Rest., gilding retouched, smaller additions, minor foxing to the mirror plate.
