Page from a manuscript entitled "Aja'ib al-Makhlukat" (The Wonders of Creation) by al-Qazvini (d. 1283). Gouache and black ink on paper, depicting the constellations of Pegasus (al-Faras al-A'azam) and Andromeda (al-Mar'at al-Musalsala) surrounded by several lines of text in a gilded fillet frame. Glued to a page of text from another manuscript.
