Louis FLOUTIER (1882-1936) - Basque farm Oil on panel Signed lower left 33 x 45.5 cm. The painting is registered under N°1494 in the artist's Catalogue Raisonné. Note: Floutier captured the essence of Basque rural life in his paintings. His works often depict the region's typical farmhouses, the "etxe", with their distinctive architecture: whitewashed walls, pitched roofs covered with red tiles, and wooden balconies. These farms are often set in rolling, verdant landscapes, reflecting the pastoral character of the Basque country.
