Provenance: Painting given by Korovine to the current owner's grandfather, an artist and friend of the artist. Note: Korovine's art draws inspiration from his travels and experiences especially in his landscape series. Several paintings inspired by his 6 years spent in northern Russia and Scandinavia, among which we will find notably St. Trophon's Creek in Petchenga or Port of Norway.
