Silver SOUPIERE (925). PARIS, ap. 1838 (Minerve). Oval in cross-section, standing on a pedestal decorated with a frieze of palmettes on a striated background and a gadrooned ring, two straight double lateral handles with oak leaf attachments and adorned with acanthus leaves, an applique finial on each handle. Flared lid projecting to the center, bordered by a gadrooned frieze, with flat leafy terrace topped by a burst fruit-shaped grip.
