ATWILL LIONEL: (1885-1946) English actor, remembered for his portrayal of Professor Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon (1943) as well as his appearances in various horror films of the 1930s. A rare vintage signed and inscribed sepia 8 x 10 photograph of the actor in a head and shoulders pose. Signed in dark fountain pen ink to the base of the image, partially across a darker area although reasonably legible. One very light, extremely minor corner crease, VG
