[BEN-HUR]: BOYD STEPHEN (1931-1977) Northern Irish actor, remembered for his portrayal of the villainous Messala in the American religious epic film Ben-Hur (1959). A scarce vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of Boyd in a head and shoulders pose. Signed in black ink at the base of the image, across a darker area although still reasonably legible. Signed photographs of Boyd are scarce as a result of his untimely death at the age of 45. Some very light, minor surface and corner creasing, otherwise VG
