Marcel CANET (1875-1958): A student of Bouguereau and Gabriel Ferrier, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français between 1903 and 1935. He became a member of the Salon. He also exhibited at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Orientalistes Français. He moved to Algeria around 1924.
