Capucine clock in chased bronze and brass, the upper dome crowned by a turned pinnacle housing a bell inscribed "DUBOIS ROBERT AU PUY", and flanked by a standing automaton holding a hammer destined to strike the bell.
The openwork pediment features foliage scrolls, and the dial features a circular bezel with hours in blackened Roman numerals. The central decoration features a winged figure surrounded by flowers and is signed TOUSSAINCTS FLEUTRY in Paris. The columnar uprights rest on four small toupie feet.
