A small chest of drawers with an exotic wood veneer front and sides and chevron marquetry in filleted frames, opening with three drawers in three rows without a crossbar, the uprights rounded and the lamp base scalloped. Resting on four slightly arched legs. Chased and gilded bronze ornamentation such as corner falls, key escutcheons, pull handles, lamp bases and sabots. Pink and gray breche marble top.
Stamped by Pierre MACRET (1727-1796), active between 1765 and 1771 in Paris.
Transitional Louis XV-Louis XVI period.
