Baule necklace, Ivory Coast Gold, string Length: 39.6 cm The necklace is made of circles with jagged edges whose surfaces are finely decorated with repeating concentric shapes. The pendant, reflecting the beauty of Baule craftsmanship, is composed of an elaborate structure with refined decoration, alternating openwork spaces and decorated surfaces. Rectangular in shape, the upper and lower ends are accentuated by linear rows in relief, the sides by friezes of triangular shapes, the openwork spaces decorated with circular shapes. The center features linear triangles, at the center of which appears a lizard whose body is decorated with concentric circles in relief. Weight: 157 g
