Large dinner service for 13-17 persons, 68-piece, Royal Copenhagen, Denmark, 1960s, from the Golden Horns service, shape designed by Thorkild Olsen (1890-1973), decoration with two crossed gold horns and orange edge, the decoration goes back to the golden horns of Gallehus around 400 AD. which were found in Gallehus in 1693 and were later stolen.
