Set of two tsubas: one in the shape of a "Marugata" decorated with two openwork "Dragons" in sukashi bori. Namban school. The second is a polished iron "Marugata" decorated with "Foliage" in gold-embellished kebori-kiribori. Signed Masa Kuni Karatsu Ju, made by Masa Kuni in the village of karatsu (Hizen province). Japanese work. Period: early and late Edo. Diameter: +/-7.5cm and 8cm.
