A rare pair of blue and white porcelain vases, with curved bases and rounded sides topped by short necks flared at the opening, featuring elegant decorations of birds among flowering branches, and friezes of banana leaves on the necks and feet. The sides are flanked by handles in the form of chimera masks with rings, treated in the archaic taste. Apocryphal Qianlong six-character marks in cobalt blue under the bases. Height: 55 cm
