Jean Ary BITTER (1883-1973) Young girl with doe and fawn Bronze with silver patina Signed "Ary BITTER". Bears the founder's stamp "LN / Paris / JL" for Les neveux de Jules Lehmann. Bears the number "111". Height 29.5 cm; Width: 63.2 cm; Depth: 21 cm, on a green marble base, height. 5 cm; W: 75.4 cm; D: 27.7 cm Ary Bitter, a native of Marseille, entered the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 1902, where he trained with Ernest-Louis Barrias while working in Jules Coutan's studio.
