Painter and lithographer Jean-Baptiste Arnout exhibited at the Salon between 1819 and 1737. His paintings, and later his lithographs, were inspired by his many travels in France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, London and Saint Petersburg. He produced numerous illustrations for works on monuments and architecture.
