Modernist secretaire, . ca 1900-1910. Walnut wood. Slight wear due to age. Measurements: 165 x 102 x 53,5 cm. Modernist secretaire of stylized design. It rises on slender stipe legs, decorated with grooved incisions and floral carving. The four legs are joined by a chambrana of fine crosspieces with lentil carving. The upper body stands out for the fine chiseling that decorates the front of each door and drawer, based on "coups de Fouet" and sinuous floral bouquets characteristic of Art Nouveau. The central body is enhanced by an architectural structure based on flanking sogueado columns and a projecting eave. The table, at its waist, also has drawers. Slight wear due to age.
