Game table in walnut wood worked with fine marquetry with a geometric design made of small tesserae, a decoration that covers the cabriole legs, the sinuous hips and the cut-out skirts. As for the mobile and folding top, it integrates, in addition to green felt upholstery, rich combinations of fruit marquetry and Grenadian mother-of-pearl inlay applied to the different game boards, such as backgammon and chess. The name, 'inlay', comes from the Arabic word 'tarsia', which means 'inlay'. This technique was traditionally used in Al-Andalus in many decorative objects and furnishings.
