Amphorae model rug handmade in wool with Spanish knot. The carpet has an ochre color field decorated with synthesized plant motifs and amphorae, forming linked medallions that are rhythmically repeated along the entire surface. The border is composed of a single band, occupied by a border in which a design similar to that found on the carpet field is repeated.
The factory of Miguel Stuyck, descendant of Jacobo van der Gotem, after ten generations dedicated to the manufacture of carpets and tapestries, can be considered as one of the most important in the world, since it has produced and continues to produce true works of art that have embellished the best palaces, luxury hotels, banks, government agencies...
