The horse is not well anchored to the base. The object in his right hand is missing.
Measurements: 24 x 25 x 9 cm.
Ruff studied in Budapest and Brussels. Later he lived and worked as a sculptor, landscape painter and draughtsman in Budapest. In this sculpture highlights the laborious work of the two animals and the male character, captured with a precision, a naturalism and an expressiveness that denote not only mastery on the part of the sculptor, but also a careful study of the natural.
