Jewelry box. France, ca. 1900. In the manner of Sèvres.
In enameled and gilded porcelain.
Mounts in gilt bronze.
With maker's mark on the base, and signed "Henry".
Measurements: 11 x 32 x 20,5 cm.
French Art Nouveau jewelry box. The design is inspired by contemporary models of the manufacture Sèvres. The mixtilinear profile gives the piece an organicist morphology, responding to the prevailing modernist aesthetic. On a white enamel background, bucolic scenes have been represented in different tones and borders filleted in gold.
