Mirror frame, XVIII century.
Ebonized wood, bronze and marble beading.
It has marks of use and wear.
Needs refinishing.
Measurements: 17,5 x 17,5 cm.(soul); 42 x 28 cm. (total).
Eighteenth-century frame for mirror. Its octagonal structure defines both the profile of the core and the outer perimeter. The ebonized wood surface has parallel moldings and houses on its surface sheets of chiseled metal with vegetal bouquets. Marble inlays in different colors adorn each of the sections. Bronze applications decorate the angles, as well as the crest with winged lions, the cresting of the lower vertex and the lateral marquettes.
