This excellent work in relief represents two cherubs of which we can only see the infantile head, flanked by the wings, as is usual in this type of representation. There is no ornamentation on the back, but the hollow of the sculpture remains, which confirms that it would have originally belonged to a larger sculptural ensemble. Both faces are directly inspired by the models of the classical "putto" (a child with regular features, broad forehead, small nose, large cheeks and wavy hair), although it shows a technical and aesthetic advance with respect to these.
